Story: one killed in a road accident in Laguna

A woman got killed after being hit by a shuttle bus in Laguna, Thursday morning.

On the initial investigation of SPO1 Ganderjem Cabaluna, along Maharlika Highway in Barangay Real, Calamba, Laguna the shuttle bus (NYS-708) made an overtake into another car then hit the tricycle (BT2131) at the side. After hitting the tricycle the bus hit the Tamaraw FX (UGL-946) which was being followed by the tricycle.

The incident occured at around 6:45 am. It was believed that the bus came Batangas area.

The victim was identified as Queenie Rose Bogonia, 29, jobless residing in Bgy. Real, Calamba, Laguna. Cabaluna said, Bogonia was about to cross the street when the vehicular accident happened. She was hit by the bus when was dead on the spot.

There were other 10 injured all brought in Calamba Medical Center. All of them were in stable condition and only sustain minor bruises.

However, the driver of the bus identified as Jaime Ong, 30, resident of Cabuyao, Laguna, immediately escaped after the incident.
