Story: One killed, three other injured in hacking incident in Camarines Sur

An unidentified male person entered a house in Barangay Daculang Tubig, San Fernando, Camarines Sur and hacked every one in the house.

The incident occurred at around 7:00 pm of April 1, 2008 at the residence of Miguela Noverro, 42, married. She suffered hack wound on her left forearm. Other victims are her children, Nica, 1, who died on the spot due to the wounds she sustained on her fac; Maureen May, 10, sustained hack wound on her right knee; and Leonel, 4, sustained hack wound on his left shoulder.

PO3 Dante Quinao of San Fernando Police Station of Camarines Sur said that the family were having dinner at that time when the male suspect suddenly entered the house and hack all of them. He also described that the house of the said family has no door and its wall are made of sack that is why the suspect easily went inside.

In addition, the house has no electricity that is why the family did not know the face of the suspect. They are only using ‘gasera’ a kind of light that being lighten through theuse of gas.

They are currently confine in Bicol Medical Center. Quinao said that the wounds of the victims are up to their bones.

The motive behind the hacking is still unknown, and the San Fernandopolice are now doing manhunt operation.
