Warehouse in Valenzuela City hit by fire; 200 families homeless due to fire in Caloocan City

Story: Warehouse in Valenzuela City hit by fire; 200 families homeless due to fire in Caloocan City

A warehouse in Valenzuela City was hit by fire Saturday night.

The fire started at around 9:00 pm and was declared fire out at around 9:20 pm. The fire reached 1st alarm only.

The fire started inside the warehouse of Short Hand Inc. located at East Service Road of Barangay paso De Blas near Malinta Exit; the cause of fire still unknown according to SFO1 Edgardo Cinco. The warehouse contains parts of motorcycle.

Cinco also said that the fire was easily under control by the Valenzuela firemen because there is a fire station about 30 meters near the said warehouse. Estimated damages on the fire about Php 100,000.There were no reported casualties or injured on the incident.

Meanwhile, another fire occurred in Caloocan City leaving about 200 families homeless at #366 BNBA Compound 2nd street, 5th Avenue, Caloocan City.

On the report of SFO2 Arvin David of Caloocan fire, the fire started at 7:20 pm and was fire out at around 11:25 pm.

Residential houses made of light materials were burned on the fire that reaches Task Force Bravo. The origin of the fire is at the house of a certain Junior Sebastian due to unattended lighted candle. Estimated damages is about Php 5 million. There were no reported casualties and injuries.
