Story: Korean ran amuck, killed two then commits suicide in Lapu-lapu City

A Korean national ran amuck after learning that his business partner has plan allegedly, to disregard him as business partner.

The incident happened October 6, Monday, at around 8:45 am inside the Blue Marine Seafood Restaurant which is located at the foot of the bridge Mactan-Mandaue bridge in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-lapu city.

The Korean that amuck was identified as Hyo Sik Woo, 60, he went to the restaurant to confront his business partner, also a Korean National, identified as Kong Young Bae, 59 regarding to the reports that he received that Bae will disregard him as business partner anytime soon.

The two Korean nationals had a heated argument about it. Woo revealed his gun the tried to shot Bae, but missed.

Bae went out of the restaurant, then Woo followed him and shot him again, but it missed again.

When Woo did not able to shot Bae, who is already running for his life, Woo went back inside the restaurant and shot the live-in partner of Bae, a Korean national identified as Kon il Bok, 47, female, and Joel Molo, 27, Filipino and the cashier of the restaurant.

After killing the two, Woo shot himself on his head.

According to Lapu-lapu City Chief of Police Sr. Supt. Mariano Natuel, when the police operatives arrive at the area, the three were already dead.

Kon Il Bok sustained three gunshot wounds on the right side of her body, and one in her back. The Joel Molo sustained two gunshot wounds, one in left side of his body and the other on his left chest.

Natuel said that the gun used by Woo is .45 caliber pistol with silencer.
