Another inmate has been back in Binan Jail after he was arrested in Cabuyao, Laguna, then surrendered back in Binan, Laguna.

Binan Chief of Police Supt. Mafelino Bazar identified the inmate as Edwin Osis facing a theft case. He was arrested inside his house in Barangay Niugan, in Cabuyao, Laguna at around 4:00 pm of October 6, Monday.

The Binan Police who is searching for the 16 escaped inmates had coordinated with the police stations in nearby provinces for the possible arrest of the inmates.

As of now 12 were already back at Binan Jail, four more remaining escaped prisoners are still being searched identified as Angelito Estrella of Bgy. Malabanan, Binan, Laguna; Adolfo Tanael of Bgy. San Antonio, Binan, Laguna; Jhonils Otbo also from Bgy. San Antonio, Binan, Laguna and Rudy Pagkalinawan of San Pedro, Laguna.

All of them escaped last October 1, 2008 at around 2:55 am after one of the inmate helped the other inmate to be brought to the hospital after it suffered from vomiting. Upon opening the gate, inmates inside pushed the gate then bumped on their jail officer for him to fell down, then the 16 took their chance to escape.

During that date five already surrender, then on October 2, two more surrender, then last October 3, one more surrendered.
