Story: Vehicle fell in a ravine in Benguet, passenger dead but cannot be identified

A vehicle fall in a ravine in Benguet, its lone passenger died on the spot and cannot be recognized because he was burned as well.

The incident occurred at around 3:00 am of October 31, along Kilometer 13 of Halsema highway in Barangay Caponga, Tublay, Benguet.

According to Sr. Supt Danny Pelisco, provincial director of Benguet, no one witness on what really happened to the vehicle which is a Honda City (ZEN-841), the police said it could be self-accident like loosing its break and became uncontrollable of the situation.

The police said that the only passenger of the vehicle was identified as Roger Yu, he is also driving the said vehicle. He was only identified through the identification cards recovered from the vehicle. He is a resident of AIC Gold Tower in Pasig City.

Pelisco said the victim is beyond recognition because the vehicle and the victim is burned; showing an indication that the vehicle exploded when it fell at the 200 meter ravine.

The police also recovered receipts of North Luzon Expressway, showing that the victim might came all the way from Manila.
