Story: Passenger jeep falls in a ravine in Tagaytay city, six dead

A passenger jeep fell in a ravine while traversing the Talisay-Tagaytay road when the jeep accidentally fell.

According to Supt. William Segun, Chief of Police of Tagaytay City the incident occurred at around 3:30 pm after the driver of the jeep lost its break and was not able to control the jeep.

The jeep fall in a ravine about 1,000 feet deep which cause instant death to six of its passengers. The jeep was reportedly to have about 25 passengers and was bound to go to Talisay, Batangas which came from Tagaytay City.

Segun also said that they were able to recover 18 survivors, and was brought to Tagaytay Hospital in Tagaytay City and Estrella Hospital in SIlang, Cavite.

Passengers sustained injuries on their head and different parts of their body. As of this writing they are not yet determined how many are in critical condition.

Segun also said a one year old baby boy was also missing and subject for their search and rescue.

The identity of the driver is not yet disclosed since the driver is also confine in Tagaytay Hospital. Segun a possible charge of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple murders and multiple physical injuries will be file against the driver.
