Story: PAF colonel found dead at the hallway of their quarters in Villamor Airbase

An active member of Philippine Air Force (PAF) was found dead along the hallway of their quarters in Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

He was identified as Colonel Miguel Gialogo, 54, was found lying, lifeless on the hallway in front of his unit at the second floor of the Married Officers Quarters (MOQ) in Villamor Air Base. Gialogo body was found by a certain Marietta Munoz who is also living at the same floor of the said quarters at around 9:30 am.

Gialogo was the Commander of Air Force Research Development Center.

PAF Spokesman Major Gerardo Zamudio said they learned that this morning, at 6:00 am, Gialogo even took the physical fitness test together with other senior officers at Protacio Park also inside Villamor Air Base.

The said physical fitness test is intended for prospective Brigadier Generals. The said physical fitness test finished in time at 7:00 am then all of them went back on their respective units.

The Pasay Police is now conducting investigation on the real cause of the death of Gialogo, if there is foul play or if he suffered from heart attack.

Goliago was with the Philippine Air Force since 1976. His body now lies at Rizal Funeral Parlor also in Pasay City.
