Story: Two killed in a road mishap in Nueva Ecija
Two people got killed in a road mishap in Nueva Ecija, one of them is a minor who was also driving their scooter.
The victims were identified as Allan, Makaso, 17, driver of the scooter, and Jennylyn Doloso, 22 passenger of the scooter.
The accident occurred at around 2:00 am of September 11, 2008 along Maharlika Highway in barangay Abar Dos, San Jose City in Nueva Ecija when a Florida Bus bound to Manila came al the way from Isabela, Ilocos Sur, accidentally drag the scooter about 15 to 20 meters.
SPO2 Mario Pastor, investigator in San Jose City Police Station explained that the scooter came from side street, the bus driver identified as Ernesto Sili, 49, tried to swerve to the left side but lost control, instead the bus dragged the scooter together with its passengers.
There were about 40 passengers in Florida Bus but only 9 suffered minor injuries.
Sili is now under the custody of san Jose Police Stations and is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting to double homicide, with physical injuries and damage to property.
