Story: 2 killed, 2 injured due to landslide in Davao City
Two people got killed while two others were injured including a two year old boy after the part of quarrying site were the three victims are working eroded on them.
The incident occurred at around 12:00 noon of August 4, 2008.
Victims that were died were identified as Edgar Balolot Selana, 49; and Nelson Collera Tagalog, 20, labourer in DIMS Quarry in Barangay Langub, Tamolon, Davao City.
The two that were injured are John Abude Adoracion, 17, are Johnlord Granada Uy, 2, both brought to Davao Medical Center and was already declared as out of danger.
Investigation disclosed that Selena, Collera and Adoracion were loading sand on the mini dump truck then the upper portion of their quarrying site eroded on them causing to landslide and burying the four victims.
Uy, the two year old boy, was playing near the area that is why he was included in the accident.
