Story 2: Hall of Justice in Sultan Kudarat razed by fire

The whole building of the Hall of Justice inIsulan, Sultan Kudarat was razed by fire last August 4, at around 7:30 pm.

The fire which lasted for two hours, was caused by explosions that were heard inside the Hall of Justice said by Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office director Sr. Supt. Teng Tocao. According to him, they are not sure if those were exploded are the ammunitions being kept as evidences on some cases being heard there, but this is one of the possibilities that they are looking at.

Tocao also added that aside from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) he already tasked the Isulan Municipal Police Station to investigate the incident including the cause and the origin of fire.

"We have instructed our chief of police in Isulan to conduct an investigation, apart from the investigation being conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), which is the lead agency,” Tocao said.

The Isulan Hall of Justice which is located in Barangay Kalawag 2, Old Capitol Compound, Capitol Site, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat is only one storey building.

The fire lasted for almost two hours because of the strong winds that they are experiencing while the fire fighters trying to put out the fire.
