Story: one killed by robbers in Makati City

An accounting staff working in Makati was gunned down after he refused to give the money he withdraw for the company he is working for.

The victim was identified as Jaime Armando Antonio, 55, single, was working as accounting staff in Eco laser located at Teka Street, San Antonio Village, Makati City.

The incident occurred at around 11:50 am.

Antonio withdrew money amounting to Php130,000 at Metrobank located in Kamagong Street, corner Sampaloc street of the same barangay. While walking along Kamagong Street to go back to work, he was approached by three unidentified armed men wearing bonnet and declared hold-up.

Three other male suspects wearing helmets and riding on three different motorcycles arrived at the area and parked along kamagong street near the incident and served as lookouts.

The victim refused to give the money. The suspects forcibly took the bag of Antonio with the money he withdrew and shot the victim and hit him on the upper left of his chest. The suspects were able to get the money and fled immediately.

The victim was rushed at Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.
