Story: public market in Calapan, Mindoro razed by fire
A public market in Barangay Central in Calapan City, Mindoro was razed by fire early Friday morning.
The fire started at around 2:20 am of May 30, 2008 and was declared as fire out at around 6:00 am.FO1 John Abak said almost 75% of the market area was destroyed by fire or about more than 100 stalls.
Initial investigation disclosed that a faulty electrical wiring caused the fire, but the arson investigation of Calapan City still determining the real cause and the origin of the fire.
As of the moment the fire investigators still conducting ocular inspection at the area to determine the estimated damages.
There were no reported casualty or hurt in the incident.
