Story: Victim of robbery in Batangas died after sustaining gunshot wound

Two old lady who were about to attend the first mass for the day in Tanauan City, Batangas was held-up and shot by their robbers at around 4:15 am May 8, 2008. One of them died and the other one was still confined in a hospital.

The victims were identified as Magdalena Magsino, 65 and Emilia Wagan, 63. Magsino died at the hospital on the attempt of the doctors to treat her. Both were residents of Barangay Uno, Tanauan City, Batangas.

Both of them sustained one gunshot wound in their chest.

PO3 Walter Castillo said that the two of them were waling going to the church to attend mass when two men riding in a motorcycle blocked their way. “These two men alighted their motorcycle and forcibly took their bags, when the victims refused to give their bags they were shot,” Castilo said.

The two suspects fled immediately after the incident. The amount of money and the things that were got by the suspects are still undetermined.

Case still under investigation.
