Story 1: AFP considered the neutralization on Commander Kiddie as big accomplishment

The Armed Forces of the Philippines considered the neutralization to Commander Kiddie as a big accomplishment after the elements of Philippine Army together with Zamboanga Sibugay police and intelligence group able to kill Commander Kiddie when refused to be arrested.

“He resisted, his group resisted and that triggered a firefight beween the government troops and the group of kiddie so the ensuing firefight resulted to the death of commander Kiddie and one of his close aides identified as Utoh Mussa and,” Lt. Col. Ernetso Torres said, Spokesperson of the AFP.

The death of Commander Kiddie was considered as big accomplishment because he was considered as one of the most wanted person in Mindanao.

Torres added that based on the intelligence information that they gather the group of Commander Kiddie is planning to kidnap a businessman from Zambonga, however Torres did not name the person.

“As per the assessment of the raiding team the group of commander Kidde had planned to kidnap somebody from Zamboanga city and it was prevented because of the timely raid,” Torres said. He said there is a document that showed this but they do not want to divulge it yet.

Police elements of Zamboanga Sibugay, intelligence group and Philippine Army conducted special operations on the service of warrant of arrest against Akiddin Abdul Salam alias Commander Kiddie which lead to a firefight incident between the two group.

Supt. Jose Gucela, of Public Information office in Region 9 police office, the group of commander Kiddie fired at the arresting team that prompted them to fire at them as well.

Commander Kiddie sustained gunshot wounds on his head that exited through his throat.
