As of the moment, according to Lt. Commander Rogelio Villanueva, representative from PCG, they are having difficulties in communicating with the rescue team because of the erratic signal of communication. But he is assuming that the 15 bodies saw from the dining hall of the ship were already retrieved because that was the plan since Tuesday afternoon.

Retrieval operations for the 50 bodies still on-going.

The depth of the sunken ship is about 30-40 meters deep. The ship hit a coral underneath. Villanueva said, they still have to confirm if it rested on the seabed or just hanging at the corals.

Villanueva said they still lack on flashlights to be used under the sea though the US Navy already lend them about 20. He said they still be needing more than 50.
