Story 2: Twelve (12) Caloocan Police to be summoned for investigation on alleged salvaging

Twelve Caloocan police assigned in Caloocan North to be summoned on Friday, June 13 for further investigation on the alleged salvage happened last 12:30 am of June 5, 2008.

The National Capital Region -Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (NCR-CIDG) is the one conducting the investigation headed by Sr. Supt. Erickson Velasquez, Chief of NCR-CIDG.

Last June 5, four individuals were flagged down by 10 policemen, eight were in uniformed and two others in civilian clothes. According to the lone survivor, Glenn Genolsolanggo, 22, he was with his friends traveling along Congressional Highway in Bgy. Camarin, Caloocan City when five motorcycles riding by 10 policemen approached them and asked them to follow them.

Those who were with Genosolanggo were Robert Tan, Archie Aben, one alias “Adoy.”

Upon reaching the place near Saranai Subdivision, Genosolanggo jump off the tricycle he was riding and escaped to save his life. When he tried to escape he was shot by the police two times, he was hit in left leg. While running for his life, Genesolanggo heard seven other shots which he thinks that the policemen killed his friends who were not able to escape.

The NCR-CIDG invited first the 12 policemen on-duty when the incident happened to know whether they have participation on the case or none. If Genosolanggo cannot identify whom from the 12 who flagged them the NCR-CIDG will invite the police on-duty during daytime.

If there will be none from them would be identified yet, all Caloocan Police will be subject for investigation.

Genosolanggo is still at the custody of NCR-CIDG for protection.
