Story: Policemen on Negros Occidental were relieved for being drunk while on-duty

Three policemen of Manapla province of Negros Occidental were relieved for being drunk while on duty.

Their Chief of Police Sr. Inspector Jose Laguyo identified the three policemen and even suggested that a grave misconduct charged be file against them. The three policemen were SPO1 Ramon Auditor, 51, the team leader of the group; PO3 Feliciano Solinap, 53, and PO3 Jovel Bustamante, 34.

Laguyo said the three were patrolling within their area at around 5:30 pm. “On the course of their patrolling, they were invited by some of their friends in Barangay Purisima, somebody offered them to drink beer, our police did not refused, so they got drunk,” he said.

While patrolling, the policemen is riding on their patrol jeep. “On their way back to the station, they bumped into a truck which was being park, because they got lost control,” Laguyo said.

The front part of the patrol car got damaged but the Chief is thankful because the patrol car were not totally destroyed.

The three policemen were now in Negros Occidental Provincial police Office while they were under investigation.
