Story 3: three suspected robbers killed by police in Tagaytay City

Three suspected robbers were killed by policemen in Tagaytay City after they ran and fired at the policemen when the police were about to approached them.

The incident occurred along Lagusan Drive in Barangay Tolentino West, Tagaytay City at around 8:00 pm. According to SPO1 Leo Mendoza, the mobile patrol groups which was headed by Superintendent William Segun the Chief Of Police of Tagaytay itself.

Mendoza said the patrolling policemen noticed the three men standing along Lagusan Drive, when the policemen were about to approached, the three ran away and immediately fired at the patrol car hitting the windshield and the right headlight. The police retaliate when the suspects fired at them.

Only two suspects were identified and these are Jerome Nungay and Abinicart Gopoli. The two of them has pending case of robbery also in Tagaytay City. The other one was not been identified. They were all died on the spot.

The police doing patrol rounds on the area because many establishments were being robbed already.
