Story: one killed, five injured in a vehicular accident in Benguet

One killed and five others were injured after an owner type jeep bumped a sari-sari store in Benguet then fell in a ravine.

The incident occurred at around 4:00 pm along Quirino National Highway in barangay Sablan Benguet after an owner type jeep driven by Dorsey Sagandoy, 32. He was with is wife Jocelyn, 30 when the tire of their jeep got loosen.

When the tire got loosen they bumped on the store at the side street and entered the store exited at the back side of the store.

Three people were hurt in that store named Arsenio Anacico, 36; Jobert Palali, 25; and Jayver Rimando, 19. The other two were hurt are Dorsey and Jocelyn Sagandoy both riding in the owner type jeep.

One died on the spot was Emalyn Rolloda, 22, she was in front of the sari-sari store when the jeepney bumped onto it.

According to the Chief of Police of Sablan Police Station, Dorsey Sagandoy is now under their custody and will face charges of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and multiple injuries.
