Story: Labor leader slain in Negros Occidental

A Labor group leader in the province of Negros Occidental was gunned down by three still unidentified male suspects last June 6 at around 7:30 pm.

The victim was identified as Armando Dolorosa, 45 and Vice-Chairman of Democratic Association of Labor Organizations on his town in Barangay San Pablo Manapla, Negros Occidental.

Three male all wearing bonnet and armed with M-16 rifle and .30 caliber suddenly shot Dolorosa inside his house on his body that lead to his instant death. According to PO2 Deolito Maningo, case investigator, said the incident may cause to the land dispute in the area.

Dolorosa is a beneficiary of a land in Hacienda Merian that may triggered the suspects to kill him.
