Story 1: Alleged Abu Sayyaf member arrested in Sulu

An alleged Abu Sayyaf member was arrested in Sulu Wednesday afternoon after he was being sighted walking in near the Jolo airport, official said.

The suspect was identified as Jul Akram Hadjail and now at the custody of 3rd marine Brigade. He was arrested by the marines at around 11:30 am in the vicinity of the Jolo Airport in the town proper of Jolo, Sulu.

He is still undergoing the tactical interrogation according to Clemen.

He was arrested while walking on the said area. Clemen said the suspect is under surveillance for about a week already, then yesterday (Wednesday) he was arrested.

Clemen also said that they arrested the suspect through warrant of arrest and admitted that they are not sure yet if he is involved in the kidnapping of the ABS-CBN news team. But this is also being investigated.

Hadjail has a pending case of multiple murder and multiple frustrated murder and has a reward money of Php150,000 on his arrest.
