43 floating bodies were recovered in the vicinity of Burias Island . 33 male, 9 female and one unknown, according to the report of the Philippine Coast Guard.

This total to 293 recovered bodies. Other bodies were already brought to Cebu for forensic examination though MV Cebu Princess also owned by the Sulpicio Lines..

As for the Philippine Navy, they stopped their search operations and was dispatched to do relief operations at Iloilo for the victims of typhoon Frank.
