Story 2: 11 killed, 27 injured after two bus collided in Camarines Sur

Eleven people got killed and 27 others were injured after two passenger busses had a head on collision in a national highway in Camarines Sur.

The Silver Star passenger bus (TYK 273) is bound for Manila and came from Samar, while the Executive Carrier (PWB 356) bound to Naga and came from Manila.

The two bus collided after the Silver Star bus encroach the left lane thereby causing to collide with the Executive Carrier bus along Maharlika Highway, Brgy San Ramon, Pamplona, Camarines Sur. The incident occurred at 2:40 am.

The police are now investigating on how come the Silver Star bus occupied also the lane for Executive Carrier where the area where they collided is not a zigzag part.

Five passengers from Silver Star were dead on the spot were identified as Godofredo Garcia; Dominador Carreon; Ricardo C. Pasaan; Genny C. Carter and Eric Alcantara y Majello.

While on the Executive Carrier Passengers were Wilson Detuail; George Evangelio; and a certain Bing.

Three passengers were killed while undergoing medical treatment in Bicol medical Center were Danilo Edloy; Dennis Salcedo and Edmundo Tolentino.
