Story 4: one killed two hurt in an accident in Nueva Ecija

One killed and two others were hurt in an accident transpired in Caranglan town in Nueva Ecija.

The accident happened at around 1:00 pm of July 1, 2008 at the national highway of Barangay Joson, Caranglan, Nueva Ecija when an Isuzu Trooper (OLY-888) driven by Louie Aurello, 33 bumped into a passenger bus of Victory Liner (CWV-933) driven by Romeo Pagaling, 40, bound to Isabela City.

Based on initial investigation, the driver of Isuzu Trooper bound for Manila did not notice a big stone on his way, ran over it and cause for him to loose its control on his vehicle which cause for him to moved into another lane of the road which is the opposite direction.

Unknowingly, the Victory Liner bus is approaching the said area, the Isuzu trooper bumped the left front wheel of the said bus which cause for the wheel to explode.

No one was hurt or killed on the passengers of the bus, however the driver (Louie Aurello) of the Isuzu trooper died and his two companions were hurt.

The two companions were identified as Antonio Ongto, 54 and Madeline Ongto, 30 were rushed to Heart of Jesus Hospital in san Jose, Nueva Ecija for medical treatment on the bruises they sustained. They are now in stable condition.
