Story 3: Two separate fires raze 20 houses in Manila

Two separate fire occurred in Manila on predawn of Juky 4, 2008, Friday. Both fire reached fifth alarm status.

The first fire incident happened in 1447 Juan Luna St, Tondo Manila. The fire started at around 3:40 am and was declared fire out at around 4:18 am. The fire started at the second floor of the house of Reynaldo Dungca.

There were no reported casualties or injured but there were about 10 houses that were included in the fire and about 20 families were left homeless. Estimated damages were about Php700,000

On the second fire incident, about 20 families were also left homeless and 10 houses were also razed by the fire.

The fire happened at around 4:11 am and was fire out at around 5:30 am. The fire occurred at 2111 Concha St. san Andres Manila.

It also started at the second floor of one of the apartments there, owned by Danny Barozo. Estimated damage is about Php1 M.

Both fire incident believed to be cause of unattended light candle on the room of both houses. But the fire investigators said they are still conducting investigation.
