Quezon (Province) police already filed charges against three suspects who killed a broadcast journalist in Sariaya, Quezon last June 30, 2008. On the said incident, the victim was with his daughters whom one of them were injured and the other were left unhurt.

The suspects were identified as Mario Biscocho, Michael Biscocho, and Menandro Biscocho, they are all brothers. The cases filed against them are murder, frustrated murder and attempted murder before the Quezon Provincial Prosecutor’s Officer.

The suspects were arrested at their house in Barangay Lutucan Malabag, Sariaya, Quezon last July 12, 2008 at around 7:00 am through the search warrant they have. The police recovered 45 caliber pistol serial number 07-04-21897-98 which was found out to be licensed and owned by Menandro, according to Chief Inspector Jesus Kabigting, investigator from Quezon Provincial police.

The said gun was positive on the ballistic examination. Kabigting added that the suspects were positively identified by the victims. The case was filed last July 21, 2008 after the result of ballistic examination came out.

The suspects remain at-large because the police will have to wait for the arrest warrant for the suspects, and on their latest information the suspects still live on their residence in barangay Lutucan Malabag.

The victim identified Fausto “Bert” Sison, 60, and a broadcaster of DZAT, was gunned down by two unidentified men riding in a motorcycle at barangay Lutucan Bata, Sariaya, Quezon.

Since the gun was licensed the police studied it for ballistic examination to check if there’s any link to the death of Sison.

He was with his daughters Liwayway, 34, and Almira, 24, and all riding their blue Toyota Corolla when they were blocked by the suspects and shot Bert many times. Bert was dead on the spot while his daughter Liwayway sustained one gunshot wound on her left arm. While Almira were left unhurt.
