Story 1: Professor ambushed in Taguig City

A professor or college instructor about to go to work were flagged down by four unidentified armed men and peppered him with gunshot that cause his instant death , official said.

The victim was identified as Renato Domingo,48, college instructor at the University of Makati. The victim is about to go to the said school where he was teaching as instructor for Physical Education classes (PE).

Domingo who was riding on his Starex van (WFC-212) was blocked by two Toyota Revo with two male armed men on each vehicle and shot him several times from his head to his body. The two Toyota Revo that blocked Domingo’s way has no plate number. The color of the Revo were silver and black.

The incident happened at around 6:30 am of July 2, 2008 at General Luna Avenue, Barangay Ususan, Taguig City. He came from his home at Barangay Bambang also in Taguig City not far from the place he was killed.

Recovered from the crime scene were five pieces of empty shells from M-16.

The Taguig Police still conducting investigation on the possible motive of the incident saying that the victim has no death threats prior to this incident.
