Story 1: 15 year old boy killed his classmate

A fifteen year old boy got killed his classmate after bringing a homemade gun commonly known as “paltik” inside their classroom.

The incident occurred last July 22, 2008 at around 6:00 am at Baclaran Annex High School in Rimas Street, Dimasalang Extension, Barangay Bacalaran, Paranaque City.

The victim was identified as Julian Laos, 15 years old and a resident of 28 Caleza de Amor Street, Pildera I, Psay City. He was declared dead on the spot.

The boy who accidentally killed him was his classmate and has the same age with his, was identified as Brian George Garcia residing at 224 Rimas Street, Barangay Bacalaran, Paranaque City, near the school.

Based on the initial investigation of PO2 Johnny Margato, Garcia brought the said gun inside their classroom and showed it to Laos. While showing it to his classmate, Garcia accidentally hit the trigger of the gun and hit Laos on his left chest.

The Paranaque Police still investigating the case and will brought the suspect to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for custody because he is minor.
