Story 2: three suspected robbers killed in Batangas

Three suspected robbers were killed in a shooting incident in Batangas checkpoint.

The incident occurred last July 1, 2008 at around 4:00 pm at Barangay Sto. Cristo, San Jose, Batangas City where the elements of Batangas police and elements of Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) put up their checkpoints.

According to the report that reach Camp Crame, four suspects believed to be members of Royal Blood Gangsta were on board on a white Nissan Sentra car (WBP-156) when the police asked them to stop for the checkpoint.

Police said they were involved in some robbery incidents in different provinces of Batangas.

The suspected robbers stopped then alighted on their vehicle and fired towards the policemen who asked them to stop. The police was prompted to retaliate killing three of the suspects. The driver of the suspects manage to escape.

Out of the three killed suspects only two were identified they were Joey Presquito, 27 resident of kabankalan, Negros Occidental and Jun Ceneta of Barangay San Francisco, Mabini, Batangas.

Recovered from the crime scene one .45 caliber; one magazine for .45 caliber; seven rounds of live ammunition for .45 caliber; one 12-gauge shotgun; four live ammunition for the said shotgun; one caliber .38; three rounds of live ammunition for .38; 22 assorted empty shells from unknown firearms and the vehicle that used by the suspects (Nissan Sentra).
