Story 1: Two robbers killed by Makati police

Two suspected robbers were killed by Makati Police after they act suspiciously when they went down of a bus that they held-up.

The incident occurred at around 11:00 pm along EDSA corner Chino Roces Avenue (formerly Pasong Tamo Avenue) and EDSA in Makati City when the two robbers went down of the Marlea air-conditioned bus bound to Baclaran from Fairview.

The two robbers rode the said bus in Shaw Boulevard then declared hold-up when they reached Estrella Street in Guadalupe Nuevo.

When they alighted the bus in Chino Roces Avenue, they saw policemen patrolling at the area. The policemen who happens to see them acting suspiciously was about to call their attention when the suspects fired their gun on them.

The operatives of Makati Anti-Crime Unit (MACU) who happens to be patrolling at the area retaliate. During the exchange of fire, one police personnel identified as PO 3 Rizaldo Abalos, was slightly injured after a bullet hit his right eyebrow.

One of the robbers died immediately while the other was rushed to Ospital ng Makati but was declared dead on arrival. The said robbers are not yet been identified by the police.

Recovered from the suspects one hand grenade, empty shells of .45 caliber, one .45 pistol; and 14 assorted cell phones, nine wallets, and two wristwatches owned by the victims. Estimated total amount of the following is not yet available as of this writing.
