Story 3: Retired US Marine and his daughter abducted in Tagaytay City

A retired US Marine with his daughter was abducted Sunday night at their residence in Tagaytay City.

The incident happened at around 8:00 pm where in the two identified as retired US Marine Ver Loyola and his daughter Cristina Loyola at the front of their house in #256 Brgy. Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City.

According to Chief Insp. Pamela Helaga, spokesperson of Police Regional Office 4A, the two is about to go home riding their white Toyota Corolla (TTV-759) when suddenly four unidentified armed men approached them then abducted them. The suspects even used the said vehicle owned by the Loyola as their get away vehicle.

At around 11:00 pm on follow-up operations, the police saw the said vehicle in Barangay Pangil, Amadeo, Cavite. Ver Loyala is inside the vehicle. He was released by the kidnappers to be able to raise Php3 million for the release of her daughter.

The Cavite Provincial office still conducting follow-up investigation on the incident. No on from them want to give any other details yet for the safety of the victim who are still on the hands of the abductors.
